Six grandchildren Shonda Nowlin Guderian and husband Brandon of Edmond, Brad Nowlin and wife Carrie of Mustang, Kendra Nelson Hale, and husband Jarod of Bridgecreek, Erica Nelson Gambill and husband Stephen of Del City, Jacklyn Owens of Mustang, Cassidee Baugh of Mustang. Glen is survived by his wife Bunnie Muse of the home, two daughters Debra Muse Olsen and husband Charlie of Mustang, Stacy McCool Howell, and husband Kenneth of Mustang, one son Steve McCool and wife Jamie of Mustang. Sister-in-law Joan Muse, Brothers-in-law Eddie Womack, Hoyt Duncan, Jack Woodruff, Gerald Kuykendall, Larry Milam. ![]() Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bill Muse, two sisters, Weta Muse Womack, and Margaret Muse Kuykendall. ![]() The Mustang Chamber inducted Glen into the Mustang Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame in May 2012. He invested many, many hours creating and maintaining the museum, as well as working on Western Days floats, displays and various other projects. Glen served as President of the group for a number of years. From that meeting, came the birth of the Mustang Historical Society. He had his eye on a one room schoolhouse about to be demolished and he felt very strongly it should be preserved. In the Spring of 1999, Glen placed an ad in the local newspaper inviting anyone interested in Mustang community history to meet to discuss preserving some of that history. He was very heavily involved in the Kiwanis food pantry for a number of years. Mustang Kiwanis welcomed Glen as a member in 1980. He also served as board chairman and was an Elder for many years. As a charter member of the Mustang Christian Church established in 1975, Glen joined with other church members to build the new church building at 1313 W. Bunnie and Glen observed their 50th Wedding Anniversary on December 4, 2021. On December 4, 1971, he married Bunnie Joyce Blake McCool with two children: a daughter Stacy Blake McCool and a son Steven Blake McCool. In 1951 he married Margie Elizabeth Knox and they had one daughter, Debra Lynne. He retired as an Aviation Safety Inspector in 1988 after 38 years with FAA. At the age of 17 he went to work for the CAA which later became FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). Glen graduated from Leflore High School in 1950. He passed on January 8, 2022, at his home in Mustang at the age of 89. ![]() Glendon Wayne Muse GLENDON WAYNE MUSE of Mustang, Oklahoma was born on August 30, 1932, in Walls, Oklahoma to William Nolan Muse and Aldora Clementine (Clemmie) Meeks Muse.
